What to be grateful for: A short memory

Heading into this season, many believed that the Phoenix Suns were going to take a step back. The thinking was that after the way last season ended coupled with how dysfunctional the offseason was for the team, there was no way the Suns could pick up where they left off in being one of the best teams in the Western Conference.

However, the Suns should be grateful for a short memory. Through the early portion of the season, the Suns have been one of the more consistent teams in the Western Conference. And considering how much inconsistency there has been so far in the league, that’s saying something.

It appears that the Suns have put last year’s playoff performance and the offseason in the past. They are moving forward with the goal of trying to deliver the franchise with a championship. So far, so good.
