Buddy Hield, Indiana Pacers

Now we move on to Buddy Hield. For as much as Myles Turner makes sense for the Lakers, I also believe that Hield makes even more sense. The Lakers need a jolt in 3-point shooting and Hield would fill that void. He’s also an all-around professional scorer, which the Lakers also need.

Hield is averaging 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game on 39 percent shooting from 3. At least in my opinion, he would be worth the price tag of a future first-round pick. Even if it’s not part of a package deal with Turner.

He’s also under contract through next season. So he’d essentially be a two-year rental for the Lakers. He’d fall right in with LeBron’s current contract and, if nothing else, could give Los Angeles another long-term asset.

I’m not sure if the Pacers would be open to trading Hield to the Lakers without Turner but it’s certainly something that Los Angeles should be interested in.
