29. Indiana Pacers (via Boston Celtics) – Kris Murray, F, Iowa
Kris Murray is a prospect that I’m constantly going back and forth on. In essence, you would imagine that he’s somewhat of a lock to be selected in the first round, between his production this past season at Iowa and the fact that his brother has excelled during his rookie season with the Sacramento Kings.
However, he’s far from a sure thing. But it’s a risk that a team like the Pacers, with multiple first-round selections, may be open to.
30. LA Clippers (via Milwaukee Bucks) – Trayce Jackson-Davis, F, Indiana
Assuming that the LA Clippers aren’t looking to start a rebuild, they will be looking for a player that could help off the bench or add some depth to the frontcourt. Trayce Jackson-Davis could be just that. And considering how productive he was this past season for Indiana, I have a hard time believing that he won’t be drafted. Even if it is late in the first round, or early in the second.
TJD certainly has some concerns as he makes the jump to the NBA but, at least on the surface, he seems like an NBA player.
