Sacramento Kings
As one of the best stories in the NBA this season, the Sacramento Kings will be looking to keep the momentum going as they head into the offseason in hopes of improving this roster further, evolving into a staple as a contender in the Western Conference over the next few years. While their first-round playoff loss to the Golden State Warriors is somewhat disappointing, it’s certainly a learning experience for an up-and-coming team.
And if the Kings are able to add the right piece in the offseason, this is a team that could find itself right back in the thick of contention in the conference. Could that right piece be Khris Middleton, who could be looking for a new challenge in his career?
Adding Middleton could truly change the dynamic of the Kings heading into next season. Looking back at the series against the Golden State Warriors, it was clear that the Kings were a scorer short of making a truly deep playoff run.
Middleton would be a valued veteran on the team that could also still lead to a certain extent on the offensive end for the team moving forward, next to De’Aaron Fox.
