The generational offensive talent: Brandon Miller, F, Alabama

When it comes to overall raw talent, you can make the argument that there’s not a better prospect that is not named Victor Wembanyama than Brandon Miller. He has great size at 6-foot-9 and skills that rival the likes of Kevin Durant and Paul George. He can score from anywhere on the floor and has proven to be a good playmaker when he’s not looking to put the ball in the basket.

Miller had an exceptional freshman season at Alabama, averaging 19 points and eight rebounds on 43 percent shooting from the field and 38 percent shooting from 3-point range. But for as talented as Miller is, he certainly has his concerns. He still needs to beef up, especially if he’s going to be able to develop into a more versatile defender, and is coming off a bad showing in the NCAA Tournament.

During his pre-draft process, he’ll have to prove that his showing in the college basketball postseason was an anomaly and not something that could end up pushing him down NBA Draft boards.

There’s not much to not like about Miller. He’s as close to a perfect draft prospect at this point in his development.
