Trade assets: 1. Stephen Curry 2. Andrew Wiggins 3. Klay Thompson

After an unsuccessful title defense this past season, the Golden State Warriors will be heading into the offseason with the task of trying to improve this roster without making any missteps. That could be easier said than done considering the hoops that the front office will have to jump through this offseason when it comes to managing the veterans and the team’s young core.

However, the good news for the Warriors is that if they are pushed toward a trade, they have some great trade assets on their roster. Of course, you can’t begin to talk about the Warriors’ premier assets without bringing up Stephen Curry. Still playing at an extremely high level, he’s one of the best overall trade assets in the league at the moment.

The strides that Andrew Wiggins has made over the last couple of seasons with the Warriors are not talked about enough; he’s clearly the team’s second-best player right now and would demand a great return on the trade market. Checking in at No. 3 is Klay Thompson. Even though he’s had to overcome multiple significant injuries, Klay is still one of the better pure shooters and cores the league has to offer.
