23. Portland Trail Blazers (via New York) – Sidy Cissoko, G, France
This is another pick that the Portland Trail Blazers could end up moving in an attempt to give Damian Lillard some help but if they do make a selection, and perhaps even pivot toward a rebuild, there’s one prospect that could be worth the flier – Sidy Cissoko.
You can argue that he deserves to be selected a lot higher than No. 23 but he could be viewed as somewhat of a steal here late in the first round. If he can quickly develop on the offensive end of the floor, he has the chance to be a really good player down the line.
24. Sacramento Kings – Jordan Hawkins, G/F, UCONN
There isn’t much that the Sacramento Kings need to (or should) do this offseason. They have taken a big step forward and a few additions here and there will go a long way in the team’s ability to remain atop the standings in the Western Conference heading into next season.
One prospect that they could target late in the first round, assuming they keep this pick and don’t trade it for a potential veteran addition, is Jordan Hawkins. As a defined shooter, he could absolutely help the Kings in a role next season.
