7. Indiana Pacers – Taylor Hendricks, F, UCF
As an NBA Draft prospect that just continues to rise up the team’s big boards, we’ve gotten to the point where it would not be at all surprising if Taylor Hendricks was taken inside the top 10. And the Indiana Pacers could be the ideal spot for Hendricks. He’d be an excellent addition to this team’s frontcourt and would be a good fit next to Myles Turner as the Pacers look to take another step forward.
Hendricks has the potential to be a two-way star at the next level and his versatility at the power forward position is something that can’t be overstated. He’s just scratching the surface of the player that he can be and the Pacers could be a great spot for him. He’d be able to develop behind the scenes while also getting his feet wet with real-time action.
I think the Pacers are a team that has plenty of versatility heading into the NBA Draft. It wouldn’t be all that surprising if they moved this pick, used it on a wing, or even took a shot on a big such as Hendricks. The Pacers are in a great spot with this pick.
