25. Christian Wood (unrestricted)

If you simply look at the counting stats, there’s a lot to like about Christian Wood. He’s coming off another highly productive season in which he averaged 17 points and seven rebounds on 52 percent shooting from the field and 38 percent shooting from 3-point range. However, he quickly fell out of the good graces of the Dallas Mavericks last season and now he’s looking for a new team.

In a vacuum, Wood is still one of the most dynamic offensive options in the frontcourt. What he can do on that end of the floor has never been questioned. It’s his limitations on the defensive end of the floor that has been an issue for the talented young big. That said, it would be surprising if he didn’t get another shot to prove his worth. He’s still just 27 years old and can help a team that has a need in the frontcourt.

One potential landing spot that would make sense is the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets could use some help in solidifying their frontcourt and Wood could emerge as a solution for the team. It would make even more sense for both sides if it’s a two or three-year deal.

Prediction: Charlotte Hornets
