New York Knicks
Biggest offseason moves: Signed Donte DiVincenzo, extended Josh Hart
After making a run to the second round of the playoffs, the New York Knicks are riding on genuine optimism for the first time in a very long time. And they’ve done what they could to improve their roster this offseason. During the playoffs, the Knicks suffered from a lack of depth on the wing and the addition of Donte DiVincenzo should help on that front. Locking up Josh Hart is also something the Knicks accomplished recently.
New York is now set up to make a big move at some point over the next 1-2 seasons to emerge as a favorite to win the championship. At least for now, the Knicks are still a move away. But that doesn’t mean they still can’t be extremely dangerous this season. As their roster currently stands, the Knicks are still a top 5 seed in the Eastern Conference. A star addition and you can make the argument that they can win the conference.
The Knicks did well this offseason. They didn’t spend dumb money and are still in a great position to be big players for the next star that demands a trade.
