Boston Celtics
Anytime there is a quality free agent available, the Boston Celtics should naturally come up as a potential landing spot. And with the uncertainty that the Celtics have at both the shooting guard and small forward positions at the moment behind their starters, Reggie Bullock should be a player that Boston should consider. I’m sure the Celtics would rather have Bullock coming off the bench to backup Jayson Tatum over Lamar Stevens and who knows if Malcolm Brogdon is going to last the season on the roster.
Losing Marcus Smart was a big loss that is going to be most evident when it comes to the team’s depth. This is where a player like Bullock could prove to be valuable for a team like the Celtics. Bullock is experienced and could give the Celtics some added versatility off the bench that they don’t currently have.
Depending on what kind of role Bullock would be looking for, the Celtics could emerge as one of the best potential options for him. This move would make even more sense if the Celtics aren’t able to land Jrue Holiday via trade, or even if they gut some of their backcourt in a deal for him.
