18. New York Knicks

There are a few concerning trends taking shape for the New York Knicks through the first two weeks of the regular season. For one, they have one of the worst offenses in the league. Specifically, the Knicks rank 29th in the league in offensive rating. For as good as New York has been defensively this season, you can’t help where they’d be if they didn’t struggle so much on the offensive end of the floor.

Individually, there are also concerns for some of their big-name contributors. Julius Randle continues to be unable to snap out of the early-season funk. He’s averaging just 14 points per game on 27 percent shooting from the field and 23 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s been the one big difference for the Knicks this season, and not in a good way.

Randle’s struggles are one of the biggest reasons why the Knicks are 2-4. In fairness, the Knicks have had a truly difficult schedule. Four of their first six games have come against Boston, Cleveland (twice), and Milwaukee.
