The Dallas Mavericks are proving everyone wrong

When the Dallas Mavericks were working hard to retool their roster around Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, there weren’t many fans of their moves. However, through the first few games of the season, the Mavs find themselves at 7-2 and sitting just behind the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference standings. As you would expect, Luka Doncic is leading the way for Dallas.

However, their supporting cast has been much improved too. Tim Hardaway Jr. has had a great bounce-back start to the season and Grant Williams is already paying dividends. This team is just beginning to scratch the surface on their potential.

The Mavs are thriving on the offensive end of the floor but still have strides to make defensively. However, it’s hard to deny their hot start to the season. And with Luka and Kyrie leading the way, the Mavs are always going to have a chance to make waves in the West.
