NBA Trade Rumors: Exploring four bold trade offers that the Atlanta Hawks may have to consider this offseason for Trae Young.

With the NBA offseason approaching, for some quicker than others, the Atlanta Hawks are one team that could be faced with the cruel reality of having to make a big change to their roster this summer. And from all indications, it seems that the Hawks could end up having to trade one of Trae Young or Dejounte Murray. If that ends up being the case, there's no question that the move that will bring the biggest return for the team involves a trade of Young.

As trading Young becomes more and more a reality for the Hawks, we explore four bold Young deals that the team may have to consider making.

4 Bold trade offers the Atlanta Hawks may have to consider for Trae Young

The Utah Jazz acquire a superstar partner for Lauri Markkanen

In this potential hypothetical bold move, the Utah Jazz would enter the offseason with the priority of finding a superstar partner to pair with Lauri Markkanen. An ideal target would emerge in Trae Young. If the Jazz wanted to make an all-in move for the superstar guard, they could. Utah has the pieces to make a strong move with a myriad of future first-round picks and a strong young foundation. In this deal, the Jazz would package Collin Sexton, Taylor Hendricks, and three future first-round picks to send to Atlanta in exchange for Young.

This move would certainly send shockwaves across the league and there's hope that a duo of Young and Markkanen could be good enough to make some waves in the Western Conference. From all indications, the Jazz want to avoid a complete rebuild. This would be a good way of doing that while also maximizing Markkanen's winning window.

With Young under contract for the next three seasons, this is the type of risky move that could make sense for the Jazz.

The Brooklyn Nets find their superstar

With the way the Brooklyn Nets underwhelmed this season, you can’t help but wonder how that might change things for the team heading into the offseason. Will their disappointments this season make them even more aggressive in their attempts to surround Mikal Bridges with a strong enough of a supporting cast that they can play a factor in the Eastern Conference next season?

Heading into this year, the belief was that the Nets were at the very least to be a playoff team. At best, they could potentially emerge as the dark horse playoff threat. That didn’t happen at all this season as the Nets, in what will be remembered as some of the lost year, took somewhat of a step back.

Equipped with a myriad of future first-round picks, it wouldn't be surprising if the Nets were quite aggressive in the trade market this summer. In this deal, the Nets would part ways with Ben Simmons, one of their young prospects, and four future first-round picks as they attempt to find a superstar to pair with Bridges.

The San Antonio Spurs add a playmaking superstar next to Wemby

The NBA offseason is even here yet and the San Antonio Spurs have been linked to Trae Young. It's safe to say that's going to continue to be a theme heading into the offseason if the Atlanta Hawks end up shopping Young on the trade market. The Spurs are an interesting potential landing spot for Young considering they have the assets to easily pull off a deal and a budding superstar to pair with him heading into the future. If the Spurs are motivated to upgrade their roster around Victor Wembanyama, Young could be a great fit.

Young would be the playmaker in the backcourt that the Spurs desperately need next to Wembanyama as he would take a ton of offensive pressure off of him heading into next season. As dynamic as Wembanyama was in his rookie season, you can only imagine how much better he'd be with another superstar-worthy talent playing alongside him.

The Spurs have the assets to pull off such a move. The big question is whether or not they're ready to make a big splash in hopes of taking a big step up the Western Conference standings heading into next season.

The Los Angeles Lakers make a big splash for Trae Young

If Trae Young does in fact find himself on the trade block this offseason, it would be extremely surprising if the Los Angeles Lakers weren’t at all involved in the conversations with the Atlanta Hawks. Especially after the Lakers expressed interest in Dejounte Murray before this past year's NBA Trade Deadline. If the Lakers were genuinely interested in Murray, you'd have to imagine they're going to be in on the Young bidding war.

As an established dynamic offensive playmaker, Young could be exactly what the Lakers are missing in their backcourt. Not only could Young be the missing piece the Lakers need right now in their pursuit of a title during LeBron's final years in the NBA, but he could also play a vital role in the post-LeBron era in Los Angeles.

In this deal, the Lakers would send Austin Reaves, Gabe Vincent, and a couple of future first-round picks to the Hawks for Young. Whether or not that would be enough to get a deal done remains to be seen, but it's certainly an offer that could bring the Hawks to the bargaining table.
