Apparently Magic Johnson is now captain obvious.

And because everyone is obsessed with meaningless one-on-one basketball games, he was asked who would win between him and Michael Jordan and, surprisingly, he didn’t hesitate with his answer.

It’s tough for any professional athlete to call one of their peers better than them, but, in this case, it’s an exception. Either that or Magic must have the utmost respect for Michael.

"When Magic Johnson was asked who would win a game of one-one between him and Michael Jordan, he didn’t hesitate.“Michael would win. That’s not my game. My game is assisting, setting up my teammates. Michael’s the greatest one-on-one player. I couldn’t go out and drop 60 like him, but he couldn’t run a team like I could.”[Midland Daily News]"

Even though Magic isn’t wrong, the better question would’ve been “who would win between LeBron James and Michael”. I think that would’ve came off a lot more interesting than the public display of affection that Magic willingly showed towards Jordan.

By the way, the answer to the question above is simple. LeBron. He’s bigger, faster and stronger. He would lock-up Michael and LeBron would bully him inside.

Agreed?
