Houston Rockets: Omer Asik returns to practice, could return to lineup

Days after requesting a trade (again), and sitting out a couple games, the Rockets believe that their disgruntled center will be in uniform on Tuesday for their game against the Boston Celtics.

I’m not sure what “back to normal” actually means for the Rockets and Omer Asik, but I assume that he’ll be available to play at least. Whether he sees action or not remains to be seen.

It’s almost a forgone conclusion that Asik will be traded (sooner or later), but I guess the two parties have to figure out a way to meet at the middle until that day comes. Right now, that means Asik returns to practice. We’ll see if that means he returns to the lineup as well.
