This summer LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all have the opportunity to opt-out and become free agents again.

Even though most believe that the trio will re-sign with the Miami Heat, the Dallas Mavericks could offer an interesting twist to the plot. Bosh is from Dallas and he was legitimately considering the Mavs back in 2010. If things fall in the right place, and, of course, the Mavs have interest, Bosh could be headed back home.

And according to reports, at least at the moment, the Mavs appear to be interested.

"[ESPN]The Dallas Mavericks will have cap space and some star power but league executives expect them to target another Heat free agent, Dallas native Bosh."

Yes, it’s early but you never know. At least we know that the Mavs will be players. Who else?

Bosh is averaging 14.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Heat this season.
