Every Friday, Sir Charles In Charge will give out their ‘turrible’ award of the week. This could be a horrible box score/shot-chart, video clip or something Javale McGee did.

We may have change the introduction from Javale McGee to the Brooklyn Nets.

Honorable Mention: Kevin Garnett is bad.

When Kevin Garnett is on the court, the Brooklyn Nets are allowing 107.9 points per 100 possessions. To compare with last season in Boston, they allowed a stingy 96.2 points per 100 possessions when Garnett was on the court. That is a monster drop off. Kevin Garnett is slow footed and has not been competent on defense through the first month of the season.

‘Turrible’ Award: Thursday Night Basketball.

Last night’s slate of TNT games before the season was anticipated when the NBA schedule was released. The second of Heat-Bulls and the first of “Battle of the Boroughs.” Because of Derrick Rose’s injury and both of New York’s basketball teams driving into oncoming traffic, last night was nothing to get excited over.. The Heat were ran off the floor and the Knicks saved Mike Woodson’s job.
