Nets’ Brook Lopez injures ankle vs Clippers (VIDEO)

It was almost a perfect night for the once-lost Brookyn Nets. As they continued to try and right the ship, returning Deron Williams and Paul Pierce just a couple games ago, the Nets were hit with the injury-bug once again.

On Thursday night, late in the third quarter, Brook Lopez sprained his ankle after getting tangled up with Blake Griffin in the post. Lopez limped off the floor and didn’t return. He was seen walking to the locker room shortly after.

It appears that the Nets dodged a huge bullet with Lopez on Thursday night and the injury doesn’t look to be serious. Maybe the Nets fortune is finally changing. They’ve won three in a row…
