Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol has been doing light workouts recently, but the next few days will determine how soon he’ll be able to get back on the court.

That’s because, according to Chris Vernon (an ESPN personality in Memphis), Gasol planned on returning to full practice today.

Depending on how that goes, Gasol could very well return to the lineup pretty soon. However, it’s unlikely that Gasol would return this week — with games against OKC (on Tuesday), at Milwaukee (on Wednesday) and at home on Friday for Sacramento. Bet on the over for this week.

Memphis is four games back of the final playoff spot in the West and they need to jump at least three teams to grab a spot. Gasol had been averaging 16 points and seven rebounds per game before his knee injury.
