Blake Griffin is often criticized for being a “fake tough” guy when it comes to on-the-court scruples. And against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night he was up to his same shenanigans that he’s always doing — basically nothing, just not backing down to try to bait the opposing player into doing something stupid.

Mission accomplished.

However, at a price. As you can see above, Griffin did reel in some stupid behavior on the part of David West, but it also came with an elbow to the head(ish) area. Griffin was baiting the wrong guy. You just can’t bring that “fake tough guy” behavior against a “real” tough guy.
