After a couple years of seemingly futile toil in Washington, John Wall took advantage of a weak Eastern Conference to lead his Wizards to their first Playoff victory since 2005. Though he hasn’t made the leap to stardom as quickly, or decisively, as some may have hoped, he’s well on his way. The once Rondo-like Wall shot an impressive 35.1% from three last year, while maintaining his elite drive-and-kick game.

That being said, Wall has his issues. His overall shooting percentage is mediocre, he commits too many unnecessary turnovers, and his rangy-athleticism hasn’t yet translated to stellar defense. If Wall can improve in these areas however, expect him to make a jump on this list.
