While the stars usually get most, if not all, the attention in the NBA, here are six unlikely players that have saved their team’s season

It’s easy to point to the LeBron James‘ and Kevin Durant‘s of the world as the biggest reasons why the Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder are excelling this season. However, there are many players that tend to fall under the radar nearly every season.

And I’m not talking about the blue collar players. Not the glue guys, either. I’m talking about the players that have been putting in the work all season long, perhaps unexpectedly, but just don’t get their necessary props.

Before we get to the list, let’s set some ground rules. In order to qualify for this list, each player had to be playing for a playoff team. Beyond that, each player had to be on pace for a career year or resurgent one.

Being a complete surprise was also good enough to qualify.

Here is our list of six players that have flat out changed the perspective of their team’s season.
