Well there you go, it’s in the books offically. Lakers took the title this year their 15th in franchise history. The Magic put up some fight, won a game and took two to overtime but the Lakers had the right mix to defend Dwight straight up (for the most part) as well as defend the Magic’s perimeter attack. Offensively the Lakers were able to exploit their mismatches and Kobe just simply wouldn’t be denied. As far as Game Five is concerned didn’t really seem like Dwight or Hedo were really keyed in. This was really the Lakers night though. How about Joey Buss on his post game speech. Inexcusably pausing as well as his slow rise in volume and enthusiasm. Pretty funny stuff and I wonder if he’s ever seen how those post game speeches normally go down? Congrats to the Lakers though. Phil Jackson passes up Red Auerbach with his 10th championship. Now the only coach in any sport in north america to win 10 championships. Also he has won 10 of the last 19 championships in the NBA. Kobe and Derek Fisher pick up their fourth championships. Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom get their firsts.
