5) GREG ODEN

Selected #1 overall in the 2007 NBA Draft

Career Averages: 62 Games, 9.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.3 blocks

Selected over: Kevin Durant, Al Horford, Joakim Noah

They call him Mr. Glass.

The biggest knack against Oden isn’t his on-court ability, but that he isn’t on the court long enough to show off his ability in the first place. Oden has played the equivalent of one full NBA season (82 regular season games) over his 5 years in the league since being drafted by Portland back in 2007.

He’s had surgeries on both his left and right knees that have setback his overall recovery time. Oden announced recently that he will sit out the upcoming 2012-13 season in order to rehab his knees and get 100% healthy.

Greg is still young and can salvage his career if he gets his health in order, but that’s a big if. How much faith can anyone have in those knees at this point?

I bet Portland would give anything to go back in time to select Kevin Durant, don’t you?
