The Memphis Grizzlies have come to an agreement with one of their own free agents, swingman Tony Allen.
According to , Allen’s deal is worth $20 million over four years.
The Memphis Commercial Appeal was the first to report the deal.
Allen was rumored to be being pursued by the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers.
Allen averaged 8.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.2 assists per game for the Grizzlies last season. He shot 44.5% from the field and 71.7% from beyond the arc. Allen is known as a defensive ace and among the best wing defenders in the league, helping the Grizzlies reach the conference finals for the first time in team history.
The Grizzlies also came to a three-year, $3 million agreement with big man Jon Leuer, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein. Leuer averaged 2.0 points and 1.3 rebounds per game for the Grizzlies in 28 appearances last season.
