Key Additions: Al Jefferson, Cody Zeller, Steve Clifford
Key Departures: Byron Mullens, Tyrus Thomas
Analysis:
The Charlotte Bobcats had yet another rough season last year and this season will be no different.
The Bobcats have a roster loaded with young guys continuing to develop and improve. It should be fun to watch Kemba Walker, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and draft pick Cody Zeller continue to grow. Walker has shown us over the past two seasons that he can be a great leader, he can be clutch, and he has so much talent and potential. I expect him to continue to improve and have an excellent upcoming season.
Although there are several negatives when it comes to the Bobcats, fans should be excited about the addition of Al Jefferson. Last season with the Utah Jazz, Jefferson averaged 17.8 PPG, 9.2 RPG, along with 1.1 BPG. With that stat-line, there is no doubt that he will make a huge impact on the team.
(Projected) 2013-14 W-L: 25-57
The Charlotte Bobcats will have yet another Charlotte Bobcats-type year. They will improve a bit because their young players will continue to develop, but Charlotte will continue to struggle this upcoming season, and seasons to come.
