Analysis:
Last season, the Detroit Pistons had yet another struggling year and missed the playoffs.
While there are many disappointments when it comes to the Pistons, Andre Drummond, Brandon Knight, and Greg Monroe were the highlights of the Pistons past season. And as for this upcoming season, they should only be better. Drummond is most likely the most anticipated player for Pistons’ fans to watch. He was very impressive in the Summer League and has so much talent and potential.
The Pistons definitely have a much-improved team heading into the 2013-2014 season. The additions of Chauncey Billups, their draft pick Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and especially Josh Smith, will all big major upgrades.
The frontcourt of Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond, and Josh Smith, are going to be one of the most dominant, young frontcourts in the NBA for seasons to come.
(Projected) 2013-14 Record: 38-44
The Detroit Pistons will have an improved year and snag a playoff spot. Pistons’ fans, you have a very bright future.
