Bernard James Back with Mavs
Last week, the Dallas Mavericks were forced to waive Bernard James in order to be able to sign free agent center Samuel Dalembert. Today they signed James back to the team.
James signed a one-year deal, worth $788, 872, according to Dallas Mavs beat reporter Dwain Price.
James averaged 2.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 46 games for the Mavs.
Mozgov re-ups with Denver
Yahoo! sports is reporting that the Denver Nuggets and Timofey Mozgov have agreed to a three-year, $14 million contract extension. The third year is a team option, according to reports.
Several conversations were held in an effort to trade Mozgov, but ultimately fell through. Mozgov saw his role diminish under George Karl this past season, while averaging 5.4 points, 4.1 rebounds in 15 minutes per game.
