SHOTS FIRED BACK. Maybe.
Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Garnett fired back at LeBron James’ comments about owing Ray Allen an apology the only way KG could respond. By telling LeBron to worry about himself.
"“Tell LeBron to worry about Miami. It has nothing to do with Celtic business,” Garnett said in response to James, who previously expressed thoughts that KG and Nets small forward Paul Pierce should apologize for criticizing Heat sharpshooter Ray Allen for leaving the Boston Celtics before they departed for Brooklyn.“I left Boston?” Pierce said when asked of James’ comments, clearly noting he had been dealt by the Celtics and didn’t leave as a free agent.[ESPN New York]"
I guess we’re supposed to act like Garnett didn’t have a no trade clause? I guess so. But we can’t sit (or stand, I don’t know what you’re doing) and act like Garnett had no say in getting traded to Brooklyn. Paaaleasee.
But anyways, let’s not make this bigger than it really is, right guys?
Anyways, the Nets played the Heat on Thursday night and it kind of felt like regular season ball. Heck, even Pierce was already hitting LeBron with those hard fouls:
A message?
Man, I can’t wait till these teams play a seven game series in May.
