Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley made his long-awaited 2013 NBA debut on Tuesday night in the only way “Easy Money” could make a debut. By being MONEY.
Beasley was called on during the second quarter of the Heat’s game last night against the Toronto Raptors. He got up four shots, and made two of them on consecutive possessions from three. Beasley also recorded a blocked shot during his less than four minutes of action.
Heat coach Eric Spoelstra said that Beasley played “important minutes” for the team after the game. Beasley said, “It felt good to give a spark…I had the mindset to stay ready.”
This was Beasley’s first action during the regular season, more than likely saw action because of a missing Chris Bosh. Bosh missed the game because of the birth of his child.
