Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders sat out practice on Monday and was thought to be listed as day-to-day.
Then it was reported, first by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, that Sanders indeed underwent thumb surgery and will miss an estimated six weeks.
Journal Sentinel has learned that Bucks forward Larry Sanders underwent surgery on his right thumb today and will be out estimated 6 weeks.

Sanders had played in three games this season, where he averaged 2.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
Now Bucks confirming Sanders injured his thumb in off-court incident, not in game as Sanders first stated.
