According to reports, Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo has returned to practice. However, he hasn’t returned as a full-go yet. And, it appears, that he could whenever he decides he’s ready.
The Celtics aren’t as bad as most people thought they’d be without Rondo. They’re 7-12, which is good enough for the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. Though, I’m sure that says more about the conference more than it does about the Celtics.
In the past, Rondo has hinted that he’d want to make a December return but it all depends on his body responds to practicing — I’m assuming.
After watching Derrick Rose last season, maybe Rondo will follow down the same path. Maybe he won’t. At the end of the day, it all comes down to Rondo. It’s his decision, and a December debut looks awfully possible right now.
