BREAKING: Andrea Bargnani lacks basketball IQ (Video)

I think it’s safe to say that Andrea Bargnani lacks basketball I.Q.

But it wouldn’t be a New York Knicks game until someone would do something idiotic and unexplainable. Enter Bargnani, late in the first overtime. I think this is a good time to remind you that the Knicks did in fact beat the Milwaukee Bucks, to avoid a laughable loss, 107-101 in double OT.

Anyways, back to Bargnani.

With the Knicks up by two points, in the first overtime, Tyson Chandler (who returned on Wednesday night) secured a huge offensive rebound with 15 seconds left on the clock. The shot clock was off and the stars had aligned for a Knicks win. The Bucks were going to have to foul in order to just extend the game. Instead, after Chandler kicks it out to Bargnani, he opts to take a three, which he missed.

The Bucks rebounded and scored on the next possession, after a timeout, to force a second overtime. Luckily, the Knicks managed to win in the second free stanza, without any more Bargnani mishaps.
