After missing three games with an upper respiratory infection, Pau Gasol is expected to return to the Los Angeles Lakers lineup on Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.
With Gasol and Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni not exactly seeing eye to eye so far this season, rumors have been swirling around as to whether or not Gasol is actually emotionally invested in this ball club. Those rumors have led to rumors of his impending departure (in free agency), and whether or not this is finally the year in which the Lakers finally trade him.
In one of his least efficient seasons with the Lakers, Gasol is averaging 14.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game — still good numbers, but not exactly what we’ve come to know with Gasol.
Either way, Gasol will be able to ease back into the swing of things against the awfully bad Bucks team.
