Expect one final playoff push on behalf of the New York Knicks.
Just kidding.
But the Knicks are making a couple moves, at least, which I guess in a way is a good thing — even though they may not make any sense or anything. According to numerous reports, the Knicks are expected to sign both Shannon Brown and Earl Clark to 10-day contracts later this week.
Brown and Clark will take the roster spots of Beno Udrih and Metta World Peace, who were bought out earlier this week.
It’s not clear if they will eventually sign either of the two for the remainder of the season after that, though.
Brown played-out two 10-day contracts with the San Antonio Spurs earlier this season and averaged 2.3 points in those games.
Clark was waived by the Philadelphia 76ers hours after being traded over from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Clark was averaging 5.2 points this season for the Cavaliers.
