Manu Ginobili rips through his shoe while attempting to play defense (VIDEO)

I’m not actually sure how this happens. I mean, the only other time I’ve seen this happen was in ‘Like Mike’.

But while attempting to defend Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey, Spurs guard Manu Ginobili slid completely through his shoe. Like, he tore it in half. This is not a misprint, or typo. This actually happened.

Luckily for him, a timeout was called shortly after. It gave him a chance to change out of the damaged pair of sneakers, or to sew them back up — whichever he preferred.
