New York Knicks finally have their big three, according to Amar’e Stoudemire

It’s time that the NBA be put on notice. There’s a new Big Three in the league.
Meet Amar’e Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony…wait, what??
Well, according to Stoudemire, he Chandler and Anthony are the cornerstone of the Knicks. He isn’t wrong…if this was 2010.
"[Bleacher Report H/T BSO]“I think the near future is very bright because we have a great nucleus with Tyson and Carmelo and myself, and now Phil Jackson,” Stoudemire said. “Those are all highlights that manifested from me signing here in 2010, when I came here to help the Knicks win.“That’s why I don’t want to leave. I want to be here for the long haul and do whatever it takes to win, so whatever sacrifices I have to make, I will be willing to make them.”"
In the month of March, however, Stoudemire has been doing his thing. He’s averaging 17.5 points and 6.1 rebounds. By his recent standard, that constitutes as tearing it up. Ironically, the Knicks are also on a seven-game winning streak and are 7-2 in the month of March.
Still, I think Amar’e was feeling himself (along with Melo and Chandler) a little too much with that most recent quote. However, I guess it’s a good sign to see the rejuvenation that Phil Jackson has brought to the team — if you want to see it as that.
