The Donald Sterling/Los Angeles Clippers nightmare could be soon over.

According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Donald Sterling has agreed to allow his wife, Shelly, to arrange the sell of the Clippers. In other words, Sterling may be waving the white flag.

"[via Twitter]Donald Sterling has agreed to allow his wife Shelly to negotiate a forced sale of the Clippers, source tells ESPN.The NBA has yet to accept the terms of this new arrangement between Shelly and Donald. She’ll need to sell it all for them to consider. But if she’s willing to sell the whole thing, this could bring a startlingly quick end to this affair."

With that said, I’m not sure if this is a real “punishment” for Sterling. He’s still rich, and he’s about to get a whole lot richer. The Clippers are probably going to sell for about $1 billion.

I guess the NBA is willing to take the moral “W,” right?

Then again, who is the real winner in all this?
