The Miami Heat might have taken care of the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals last Friday, but we couldn’t put that series in the past until ESPN’s Dan Le Batard let us.
Until he gave one of his signature rants on the Pacers.
He started this back when the Big Three of LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade all came together. He’s been doing it every year after the Heat’s key playoff series’ wins. And this season wasn’t any different.
Here is the first of this year, and it was after the Heat’s 4-2 series win over the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
So many great lines by Le Batard. Can’t pick my favorite, but this line just may have taken the cake:
“Game 7 and Paul George’s girlfriend have something in common. Neither of them actually exist. They’re fantasy. And one of them is a dude.”
Now we can move on.
Is it Thursday yet?
