1. Cleveland Cavaliers- Joel Embiid, Kansas, Center- The Cavaliers will opt to go with the 7-foot-center to pair him up with Kyrie Irving. If the Cavaliers re-sign Luol Deng (UFA), selecting Embiid over Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker will actually make a whole lot more sense.
2. Milwaukee Bucks- Jabari Parker, Duke, Small Forward/Power Forward– The Bucks need a go-to scorer and a face of the franchise. Brandon Knight isn’t that guy. Parker will give the Bucks another talented forward to go along with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is the opposite of Parker and is more of a defender, less of a scorer. I believe they will select Parker over Wiggins as they are in need of a guy who can score about 20 points a game right away, not in a couple years.
3. Philadelphia 76ers- Andrew Wiggins, Philadelphia 76ers, Small Forward– The 76ers will basically have two of the better rookies in the league as Nerlens Noel, the sixth pick in last year’s draft will make his debut next season. The 76ers can have an intriguing trio as they also have Michael Carter-Williams, who was the Rookie of The Year last season. Wiggins has the potential to be a lock-down defender and is a great athlete, the question with him is “will he score more than 20 points a game?” He may end up being somewhat of a project, but he’s worth the risk.
