New York Knicks send cash considerations to the Philadelphia 76ers for the 47th overall pick.

There are multiple teams that hold two or more second round picks in this year’s draft. The Sixers just happen to hold five of them. Picks 47, 52, and 54 all seem like picks up for trade for cash. Picks 32 and 39 would probably require greater compensation from the Knicks than cash.

There has not been much discussion on who the Knicks will target in round two since their main targets, Hairston and Ennis, will likely go in round one. If they choose to look for a small forward, Syracuse’s C.J. Fair or UConn’s DeAndre Daniels could be targets. Khem Birch of UNLV is also possible if they want power forward depth.
