The young up and coming Philadelphia 76ers are currently sitting on $32.6 million in cap space. The Sixers newest rookie Joel Embiid sent a tweet out to LeBron James to pitch to him a possibility to come to sign with Philly. Since the roster is so young and indeed far from a contender in the Eastern Conference it is highly unlikely a superstar like James or a star like Anthony to even consider signing there.

Philadelphia is indeed in a good position to pick up other players such as a Greg Monroe. They do have a goof front court, but neither are pure low post scorers as Monroe would fill that need. Since the team is so young and has so much cap space they could potentially end up sneaking under the radar and snatching someone through free agency.
