Sacramento Kings- The Sacramento Kings had one selection in the draft and it was the eighth pick. With the eighth pick they selected sharpshooter Nik Stauskas. The pick raised some question marks as the Kings used their top-10 selection on a shooting guard last season (Ben McLemore). There is no room for two starting shooting guards in their lineup so the pick is a bit of a head scratcher. There is no question that Stauskas can be a big time shooting guard, but unless they move McLemore the pick seems pointless as they are investing in a possible sixth man with a top 10 pick. The 6’6″ guard is a great shooter with a good handle and has underrated athleticism. In order for Stauskas to become a star player he must improve defensively.
