Kyle Korver is the prototypical shooting guard, at least on the surface. He’s a deadly outside shooter, a respectable defender…and that’s pretty much it. Or is it? In fact, Korver is much more then a low-usage floor spacer. As detailed by Zach Lowe, Korver’s lethal shooting, constant motion, and judicious play-making has made the Atlanta off-guard an offense unto himself. For reference, Korver’s three-point shooting wasn’t just elite for 2014, it was one of the greatest three-point shooting seasons of all time.

The only real drawback to Korver’s game is how limited it can be when not properly utilized. There’s also the fact that Korver is 33-years old, but seeing as how his game doesn’t rely on athleticism, he figures to age well (his minutes-per-game and three-point-percentage have increased yearly since age 29).
