Who will be your League Pass team this season?
Michael Saenz: Can I have two? If so, I’ll take the Minnesota Timberwolves and the New Orleans Pelicans. For one, the Wolves are a guaranteed fun watch with Ricky Rubio, Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins on the court. I don’t even care if they lose 50-plus games this season. As for the Pelicans, well, I truly believe that Anthony Davis is on the verge of a very special season. He’s about to proclaim himself to the NBA, and I want to be there to watch every game of it.
John Armstrong: Sacramento of course. But depending on the number of teams I’m allowed to choose, I’ve got to follow the Wizards (that’s my home team), and Cleveland. I’m no Cleveland bandwagoner, but I do travel frequently on the Love Train.
Morten Jensen: The Timberwolves for sure as I do admittedly like to watch fast-paced ball from time-to-time, the Bucks due to Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Lakers just to see how Kobe returns, and overall to see how bad it can get, the Utah Jazz due to their youth, the Phoenix Suns for obvious reasons (seriously people, watch them), and finally, the Toronto Raptors. Jonas Valanciunas, DeMar DeRozan, re-signed Kyle Lowry, and Rookie Of the Year candidate Bruno Caboclo? Come on now.
Bryce Olin: Denver! It kills me as a Blazers fan, but I think Denver could be the Phoenix Suns of last season. Look at all the pieces. Kenneth Faried is ready to go full “Manimal” and destroy the league. Ty Lawson missed 20 games last season because of injuries. Afflalo, Harris, Gallinari, and Wilson Chandler will get most of minutes on the wings. And, I can’t forget about Mozgov down low. There’s just a lot of like about the Nuggets, and they’re going to push the tempo, which always makes it more fun to watch.
David Ramil: I’m going to make the Timberwolves the team to watch. There’s something about a team that’s rebuilding in the wake of a star’s departure that makes them more interesting. And they’re some nice players there that be fun to watch. Points to Utah, too.
Brandon Osborne: The Pelicans. This team should be great to watch as long as they stay healthy.
