Boston Celtics: Possible Destinations for Rajon Rondo

The Kings were reportedly involved in trade talks with Boston during the summer leading to speculation that they would land Rondo.

However, reports later surfaced that Rondo wouldn’t sign an extension with Sacramento. If the Kings decide that’s not an issue to them, then maybe they try to make this trade happen. They could offer the Celtics some young players as well as a draft pick in exchange for Rondo. It’s been said that the Kings would love to get Rondo and Detroit Pistons forward Josh Smith to pair with DeMarcus Cousins. If the Kings land both of them then they will certainly be an interesting team to watch.
