Possible Trade Piece(s): Steve Nash, Julius Randle Jeremy Lin, draft picks 

The Lakers are still searching for Kobe Bryant’s replacement as face of the franchise when he retires and Rondo could be the answer they’re searching for. Rondo alone couldn’t help turn the Lakers into contenders but he could help convince another superstar to join him and Kobe the following summer. At the very least he would give L.A. a superstar point guard. The Lakers would have to be willing to part with draft picks as well as possibly Julius Randle.
