Boston Celtics: Possible Destinations for Rajon Rondo

Possible Trade Piece(s): Eric Bledsoe, Goran Dragic, Tyler Ennis, draft picks 

The Suns have their own dilemma as Goran Dragic could become a free agent after this season, and Eric Bledsoe is thinking about signing a qualifying offer which almost would gurantee he wouldn’t be back after this season.

If the Suns get worried, they may decide to deal Bledsoe to the Celtics in exchange for Rondo. Rondo would fit in well with the young Phoenix team and Bledsoe could be the star for the Celtics. This would be a deal to watch out for.

In the end I don’t expect anything to happen quickly. Boston will attempt to strengthen its roster and if they can’t seem to make a deal happen, then I’d imagine they look to ship Rondo. Looking at the Celtics roster, they do have some solid players to use in potential trades but it’s hard to see a team trading for a guy who would be a free agent next summer.

I look for Rondo to be traded around January or possibly even closer to the trade deadline.
