Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have been the epitome of consistency during the past two seasons. Per ESPN, the Grizzlies are one of five teams in the last two seasons that have won 50 games in back-to-back years. The other teams were the Spurs, Heat, Thunder and Clippers. That’s pretty good company to be in.
Regardless, in most instances, the Grizzlies wouldn’t be on this list. However, I feel like this could be the Memphis Grizzlies’ year. They’ve been so close during the past couple of seasons. In 2013, they were four games from the NBA Finals. Last season, they were (potentially) a Zach Randolph suspension away from upsetting the Oklahoma City Thunder — again.
The Grizzlies will have as good a chance as anyone in the West, and their game is custom made for the playoffs.
Grit and Grind.
